Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Internet access
-
Step 1
First, determine your goal in pursuing free online paid surveys. Are you looking for a consistent supplementary income or would you just like to make a little extra pocket money with your free time? If you are in need of cash to pay your bills, then you will likely not want to spend your time on survey sites that pay out only in rewards. Focus your attention on sites that payout in cash.
-
Step 2
Do you need some quick cash to cover a bad month where your earnings are short? Perhaps you or your spouse were recently laid off or you have incurred some sudden debt. In that case, you will want to spend the majority of your time on free online paid surveys that not only pay in cash, but have a low minimum payout. If you have earned $30 taking surveys but there is a $50 minimum payout, those earnings are not going to help you with your short-term needs.
-
Step 3
Search online for a list of various paid survey sites and look for recommendations on forums. MySurvey.com, ACOP, and SurveySavvy are three free online paid survey sites I recommend for cash payouts (see resource section). Sign up for various sites using a new email address you specifically opened for surveys (Google and Yahoo offer free web-based email). Keep a spreadsheet of all the sites you sign up for and include information on the minimum payouts, method of payment (paypal, check, etc), and referral information.
-
Step 4
Once you have established what your goals are and have signed up for a few survey sites, use your spreadsheet to concentrate your efforts on the surveys from sites that pay the best and have the lowest payout schedule. Depending on how much time you have to spend online, you may not have enough time to do all the surveys you are sent each day, so start with the ones that will be the most profitable.
-
Step 5
As you start completing surveys, make a mental note of the surveys that are the easiest and quickest for you to do. Also keep track in your spreadsheet what your payouts are and when they were received. Continue to evaluate your progress with the various free online paid survey sites and see which are worth your effort and which are not. For some people, the time spent is not worth the money paid out, but if times are tough, every extra dollar can help. It is up to you to determine what is worth your time.
