How to Bring Out Green Eyes
Truly green eyes are found in only 2 percent of the population. Make your rare eyes pop by choosing complementary makeup colors and clothing. Determine the correct shade of green to get the best accent match; lighter green eyes will need more makeup to bring out the color, while a darker green can use less. - Small makeup brush
- Eyeliner

Choose at least two complementary eye-shadow colors. Purple and brown are two colors that work well together and bring out green eyes. Match any additional color to the two primary colors.

Apply the lighter shade to the entire eyelid as a base from the lashes to the brow. Apply the darker color to the crease just above the eye. Blend the two colors using a soft makeup brush.

Apply one shade of eyeliner to the upper eyelid. Follow the form of the eye with the eyeliner along the upper and lower lid. Keep the liner as close to the lashes as possible.

Choose dark-brown mascara with green eyes. Apply the mascara wand to the upper and lower lashes. Use a lash brush to remove any excess mascara and separate lashes.

Choose an outfit with dark brown, purple or red accents. Wear clothing that coordinates with the colors of your makeup. Wear clothes you feel comfortable in and exude a bright confidence to match your bright green eyes!

Tips & Warnings
Brown, purple, black and gold are the best eye-shadow and eyeliner colors for green eyes.
Use an additional eye-shadow color in the outside corner of the eye to enhance the natural eye color. Blend with a makeup brush.
Avoid cooler eye-shadow colors such as pink or blue. These colors will not bring out the green in your eyes.
Avoid black mascara as it will mute rather than enhance your green eyes.
