Things You'll Need:

  • Comfortable dress
  • Comfortable shoes
  • Jewelry
  • Accessories
  • Positive attitude
  1. Step 1

Choose fabrics that are going to be comfortable. Stretch silks, soft jerseys, and delicate cashmeres are a great pick for an evening dress. They will feel good against your skin and will help you stay comfortable, yet still sexy all night.

  2. Step 2

Choose a dress that has a cut that will flatter your you. A good pick for a maternity dress is an empire waist. The waist sits right below the chest while the rest of the dress flows away from the body. The empire waist allows you to have room in the waist for your tummy while still conforming to your beautiful pregnant shape.

  3. Step 3

Pick a color or print that you will feel comfortable in. If you are not afraid to wear color or bolder prints, then by all means do it. Beautiful prints can add some style to a dress and make you look like a radiant goddess. If you are more willing not to attract so much attention to yourself and your pregnant body, then choose a basic black dress. Even when you are pregnant a little black dress is still a great option.

  4. Step 4

Don't forget to accessorize. Jazz up a simple black dress with a sparkling necklace or broach. Add a chunky bracelet or bangles to add some shine to your outfit. Choose a silver or gold clutch to add some color to your outfit. Just because you are pregnant, doesn't mean that you shouldn't glam yourself out still.

  5. Step 5

Choose a comfortable yet sylish show to go with your outfit. Shoes like ballet flats are really trendy and you can find several dressy styles for your black tie event. Leave your high heels at home, as you feet are bound to swell and that will only make you miserable.
