Add a little zing to breaded chicken, by using honey mustard rather than egg to bread your chicken. Bake it, rather than fry for a healthy meal!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 Cup Honey Mustard Dressing
  • 4-6 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 1/2 Cups Flavored Bread Crumbs
  1. Step 1

Clean and cut your chicken into thin strips.

  2. Step 2

Pour honey mustard into a bowl and dip each piece of chicken - totally covering it with honey mustard.

  3. Step 3

Next roll the chicken in the bread crumbs until thoroughly covered. (You can put your bread crumbs into a zip lock bag - add the chicken and shake until all pieces are covered rather than using a bowl and doing each piece individually).

  4. Step 4

Lightly spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and lay the chicken on the cookie sheet - spacing just enough apart so that they are not touching.

  5. Step 5

Bake in a 325 degree Fahrenheit oven for approx 25 minutes - or until cooked through.

  6. Step 6

Get ready to add this to your family's favorite meals!

Tips & Warnings
  • Discard unused honey mustard and bread crumbs.
  • You might want to turn the chicken over half way through the cooking time. Personally, I do not turn it. But it's your call!
  • Consuming undercooked poultry increases the risk of salmonella poisoning.
