Want to learn how to make necklaces and braclets? In this how to, you will learn how to make jewelry! You are sure to impress people with your jewelry making skills.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • jewelry wire
  • small jewelry pliers
  • crimping tool
  • crimping beads
  • lobster claw fastener
  • any type of beads or crystals or even rocks such as onyx and turqouise(the biger the beads the better,consumes your time better)
  1. Step 1

    Once you have gathered all your materials needed, you are now ready to begin. Set all your materials on a flat surface. It's now time to let your imagenation flow, create your design.

  2. Step 2

    Cut the wire four inches longer than your prefered lenth. This gives you more wire to work with. Before you begin to strand your design, tie a loose knot at one of the ends of the wire.

  3. Step 3

    You are now ready to begin stranding what you laid out in step one. Remember this is your design so let it be creative!

  4. Step 4

    Once you have stranded you design, untie the knot on the other end and make sure that this is the deisgn you were going for. If it is, then tie another knot at one of the ends. Leave two inches at the end so you have room to fasten your necklace/braclet.

  5. Step 5

    It is now time to fasten your work. Put a crimping bead through your wire then strand the wire through the fastener then back through the crimping bead. Pull the wire tight and use your crimping tool and crimo your crimping bead. With your small pliers cut the extra wire. Untie the knot on the other end and do the same thing.

Tips & Warnings
  • Stay on a flat surface, and handle design with care. You deffianetly dont want to pick your jewelry up and it fall apart!
  • Keep beads and tools out of reach of small childeren.
  • Carry tools in a downward position so you don't hurt yourself or others.
