Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • basketball
  • basketball goal
  • yourself
  1. Step 1

The first thing you do is grab a basketball and line up on the three point line to the right side of the basket.

  2. Step 2

Secondly, start dribbling towards the basket at an angle.

  3. Step 3

Once you are about two or three steps from the basket, you will pick up the basketball and step with your right foot, then your left and pick up knee towards your body when on the right side of the basket.

  4. Step 4

Finally, as your left foot hits the floor and your right knee comes up towards your body, you will gently guide the basketball towards the basket by letting go with your left hand and pushing it up with your right towards the upper right corner of the square on the back-board. Hopefully it will in, if not try again.

Tips & Warnings
  • If the basketball does not go in the basket at first, it is okay.
  • If the basketball is bouncing hard off of the basket or back-board, try using less force when pushing the ball towards the back-board.
  • Remember to use the upper right corner of the back-board and to get a good angle on the basket.
  • Watch out for the basketball coning hard off of the basket so it does not hit you.
  • Make sure you come down evenly on your feet to avoid twisting an ankle.
