Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Croissants or Whole Wheat Bread
  • Butter
  • Mayo or Salad Dressing Sandwich Spread
  • Sweet and Sour Sauce
  • Sliced Gouda Cheese
  • Turkey Ham, Sliced
  • Non-Stick Spray
  • Cooking Supplies (Stove, Skillet, Spatula)
  • Optional, Peel and Sliced Granny Apples
  1. Step 1

    Slice turkey ham or ham (approximately 1/8" to 1/4" thick (according to number of persons to be served.

  2. Step 2

    Spray the skillet with non-stick spray. Heat skillet on medium low heat.

  3. Step 3

    Place sliced turkey ham in the skillet. Turn over the cooked ham to cook the other side of the meat. Place one slice of gouda cheese on each slice of turkey ham.

  4. Step 4

    Warm 1/8 to 1/4 cup of sweet and sour sauce in the microwave on 40 seconds (80% heat).

  5. Step 5

    Toast sliced bread in toaster for each sandwich for number of persons you are serving. Butter toasted bread. Add desired amount of mayo or sandwich salad dressing spread.

  6. Step 6

    Assemble sandwich by placing the sliced turkey ham with cheese on the bread. Add 1/2 teaspoon sweet and sour sauce to the slice of bread without mayo. Place it all together and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • For additional flavor, add thinly sliced granny smith apples to your sandwich.
  • Sandwiches can be cut diagonally to make appetizers.
  • Serve warm for best flavor.
  • Ensure your slice of ham is meaty to prevent drying out the meat during cooking.
