How to Buy the Perfect Gift for a Guy

It's so difficult to shop for guys, let alone find the perfect present. Here are few tips to finding a gift he'll love.

1. TICKETS! Guys love sports and would love baseball, football, basketball or hockey tickets. Whatever he's into. Make sure you get two and go with him. Another sure winner are concert tickets for his favorite band.

2. 
   I want an iPhone like Dave's

   PHONE UPGRADE. If a guy is stuck with last year's phone, he feels left out around his buddies and their latest phone. Silly, but true. Surprise him with that phone upgrade and he'll be one happy dude.

3. ROCK BAND. The ultimate in fulfilling any guy's inner rock star fantasy! Love it.

4. NEW HAT! Guys pick out hats like we pick out shoes or handbags. It's a weird thing. To us, they all look the same right? So get him a gift card to LIDS and he can select his new hat.

5. 
   A hearty meal

   FOOD! If you can cook, make him a meal of his favorite foods or if bring him to his favorite restaurant.

6. MOVIE NIGHT. Take him to a guy flick where things explode and car chases ensue. Heck I like those! Buy him the extra Goobers too.

7. SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SUBSCRIPTION. Or National Geographic, GQ, whatever he is into.

   Man's best friend

   BEER. Or alcohol. I kid you not. My dad likes a nice bottle of brandy as a gift. Depending on your guy's preference, get him a gift box that includes glasses.

9. MASSAGE GIFT CERTIFICATE! Say what? Yup, you read that correctly! Men try to act tough, but who doesn't love a massage. Or save money and give him a gift certificate for a massage done by you!

    The latest DVD

    DVD/MOVIE COMPLIATIONS. Finally, another good guy gift is a gift box DVD collection. Sure he's seen the Godfather a million times, but he'd still want the anniversary or deleted scenes edition if that's his favorite movie! And I just saw a commercial for the complete Sopranos show, so many guys might be into that!
