Things You'll Need:
- wrapping paper
- clear tape
- scissors
- ribbon (if desired)
- gift tag
-
Step 1
Unroll wrapping paper on a table that gives you plenty of room. Place gift on the wrapping paper. Cover the gift with paper to measure where to cut. Remember, measure twice, cut once! This will prevent you from wasting paper.
-
Step 2
Place gift in the center of the wrapping paper. Bring one of the long sides up to the top of the gift and tape in in the center. Follow with the other side. This will leave paper sticking out on the sides of the gift.
-
Step 3
Press the paper from one side of the box toward the center. Apply a piece of tape. Make a sharp crease on the top and bottom of the paper.
-
Step 4
Fold the opposite side the same way and tape that as well. Now you should be left with two flaps sticking out. Repeat steps 3 & 4 until one side is complete. Finish wrapping the gift by following these steps on the other side.

on 2/24/2009 My Mom taught me to do it this way too! Add beautiful curly ribbons and it is a party by itself!
