How to Donate Your Hair to Charity

How to Donate Your Hair to Charity thumbnail
you can donate any length of hair to Locks of Love

Most people have heard of the charity "Lock for Love" which takes donations of hair and makes wigs for children with cancer and various conditions in which they lose their own hair. This is a great cause. Most people believe your hair needs to be 10" in order to donate and that you need to go to a salon- both these are actually not the case. This program also sells some of the hair they can not use to make wigs to raise money for the cost of producing wigs for these kids who need them. You can donate your hair right from home, here is how.

Things You'll Need

It's not easy to grow out healthy hair, to the length that is needed to donate. But if you can do it, its a wonderful gift. The natural hair wigs are much cooler, and the cancer patients really appreciate them wonderful article, thank you

I know Locks of Love is really well known, but be aware before you donate. They have tons of donations and very few cancer patients get their wigs for free.
