You don't need to use store bought mix anymore because this recipe is so quick and simple. All you need are a few basic ingredients and a yummy banana bread will be born. It only takes ten minutes to prep and 1 hour to bake.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 mashed banana
  • 1 egg-beaten
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  1. Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Set out all ingredients to have ready when needed. A clean and organized work space cuts the preparation time in half.

  2. Step 2

Use a medium size mixing bowl. Using a fork or whisk, mash 3 bananas until smooth (few lumps are okay). Add all other ingredients-flour last and mix until smooth.

  3. Step 3

Pour batter into 4x9 glass bread dish. Smooth out with spatula.

  4. Step 4

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Oven temperatures may vary, bread should be golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Slice, top with butter or jam, and serve.

Use mini bread pans to make individual servings. Makes a great gift for the holidays.
