If your group health insurance is through Oxford Health Plans, it is important to know how to find in-network doctors, specialist, health facilities, specialists and pharmacists. Whether you're required to get blood work as a result of a health condition or a sonogram, it's important to find a medical facility that accepts the Oxford Health Plan Group insurance.

Visit the Oxford website (www.oxhp.com). If you have not registered with them before, make sure to do so now. It will make all future transactions much easier. Registration is simple. All you need to do is provide Oxford with your member ID, name, email address and birth date.

Sign into the website once you've registered and click on the "Tools & Resources" link.

View the left-most column to locate the type of service you need. In that column you can search for doctors, hospitals or facilities, specialists, pharmacies and more.

Input the necessary information. Once you click on the appropriate link, you have the option to search by location, name or Oxford Provider ID. Input your criteria and click "Search."

Select the service closest to your location. On the Oxford Health Plan search results page, select the doctor, hospital or service of your choice. Make sure to take note of the "Additional Details" column. While all of the facilities and doctors listed on the search results page accept Oxford Health Plans group insurance, not all plans are the same. Oxford currently has three network group health plans, Freedom, Liberty and Medicare. Make sure the doctor/service you choose accepts your network.
