Step 1
A quick 15 minute phone call can keep you in the loopPick up the phone. The easiest and least time consuming way to stay in touch with old friends is to schedule a convenient time at least once a week to make phone calls to your closest friends. Try to plan for at least 15 minutes per friend. It will take at least that long to catch up on a weeks worth of action.

Step 2
Drop a quick email to say hiSend a quick email. Email is the greatest technology out there for keeping in touch when you have little time. You can even drop a quick email from the office or in between paying your bills online. It will let your friends know that they are in your thoughts.

Step 3
meet weekly for a cup of javaSign the kids up for an after school activity. Your daughter would probably love a weekly dance class and I'm sure your son would be gung ho for a karate class. Arrange to meet at a local cafe for cup of java once you've dropped the kids off for their class.
