Friends for life or until marriage?
Friends for life or until marriage?

You and your girlfriends swore to be together forever, through thick and thin, for better or worse. Well that was before marriage and kids came along. So now what? How do you keep in touch with the girls and manage to fit in quality time with your friends now that you have a million other responsibilities?

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Pick up the phone. The easiest and least time consuming way to stay in touch with old friends is to schedule a convenient time at least once a week to make phone calls to your closest friends. Try to plan for at least 15 minutes per friend. It will take at least that long to catch up on a weeks worth of action.

  2. Step 2
Drop a quick email to say hi

Send a quick email. Email is the greatest technology out there for keeping in touch when you have little time. You can even drop a quick email from the office or in between paying your bills online. It will let your friends know that they are in your thoughts.

  3. Step 3
meet weekly for a cup of java

Sign the kids up for an after school activity. Your daughter would probably love a weekly dance class and I'm sure your son would be gung ho for a karate class. Arrange to meet at a local cafe for cup of java once you've dropped the kids off for their class.
