Get rid of bulky packaging. Stop storing all your shoes in their original boxes. It takes up way too much space and makes it impossible to find the pair you are looking for when you need them. Instead opt for a behind the door clear shoe storage system. It will clear up tons of shelf space and you can always find the shoes you are looking for in a snap.

Shoe boxes are perfect for storing CDs and books

Remember those boxes that used to hold your shoes? Well now use them to store Cds, cards, pens, paper, books and anything else that you have laying around. Label each box clearly and place the boxes on one of the shelves that you just cleared off when you installed that handy over the door shoe organizer.

Store boxes neatly under the bed

Look under the bed. Now I know your mother always told you not to throw things under your bed but this is different. There is so much unused space down there. Why not make use of it. Remember I said for storage which means neatly placed under bed, not thrown under there never to be found again.
