Sell Images on Dreamstime

Dreamstime is a free stock image website where you can upload and download images. You can earn money from the images you post.

Step 1

First, register to the Dreamstime site:

You can register free of charge at their register page.
Step 2

Upload your files:

There is an upload images option under the photographers tab. The image should be your personal work and you should own the copyright. The image also must be RGB, at least 3megapixels, and saved at the highest JPEG quality.
Step 3

Have a model release for all people you know in your image:

If you trace an illustration from part of a picture, upload the original content as well. If you made an illustration from scratch, mention this in the notify admins area.
Step 4

Check the image for copyright issues:

Any labels, logos, cartoon or movie characters will not be accepted.
Step 5

Do not upload offensive materials:

This includes nudity, drugs, offensive gestures, and racist materials.
Step 6

Describe your image:

Use more than one word. Do not use capital letters to describe the image. This should start you on your way to making a profit on Dreamstime.

on 6/29/2009 I cannot find any images for free on dreamstime. They say to buy credits even for "free" images.

Am I missing something?
