Over time with condensation your car's air conditioning could start to have a moldy smell. Getting rid of this moldy, stale smell is very simple. All you need is about twenty minutes and a can of BG Fridgi Fresh.

Step 1

Step one is to actually purchase the can of BG Fridgi fresh. This can be picked up at any local auto parts store and is fairly inexpensive.
Step 2

Now that you have your can of BG Fridgi Fresh turn you car on and roll down all the windows.
Step 3

Turn your air conditioning system on and place the fan setting on high. Now switch the air conditioning system to recirculation.
Step 4

Step over to the passenger side of the car and locate the air conditioning door for the recirculation setting. This is usually close to the floor underneath the dash. You'll probably notice a opening underneath the dash where air is being sucked back in to the air conditioning system.
Step 5

Now that you now where the air conditioning recirculation door is spray the entire contents of the BG Fridgi Fresh into it.
Step 6

Once you've done this turn the car off and let it sit for about ten minutes. Now restart your car and let it run with the air conditioning on for about fifteen minutes with the windows down.
Step 7

Now that your cleaned your air conditioning air box and let the Fridgi Fresh air out for a while you should not smell anymore moldy stale smells from your air conditioning system.
