Go and purchase your rose bushes from your favorite lawn and garden store. It is best to buy the rose bushes in gallon containers. They tend to be more healthy from the start.

Plan where you are going to plant your rose garden then dig holes that are slightly deeper and wider than the container that your new rose bushes are currently in. Set each pot with a rose bush in it, in the order that you want them to grow.

With your garden gloves on, carefully remove the first rose bush from the container. You can take a utility knife and cut up the side of the pot and gently remove the rose bushes roots. After putting a little Miracle Grow in the hole, then place your rose bush in the hole. Fill the empty spaces all around the planted rose bush and pack down. Make sure that the soil comes up just around the base of the rose bush.
