Do you have a flea problem? Are there fleas in your carpet, fleas in your yard, fleas on your pets, fleas in your bed?
Getting rid of fleas on your cat or dog alone does not tackle the overall flea problem. During the flea cycle only about 5% of fleas are actually living on your dog or cat. The other 95% of fleas (in one stage or another) are living in your house or yard.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Vacuum
  • Insectiside
  • Pet flea treatment
  1. Step 1

Vacuum. Vacuum your ENTIRE house. Pay attention to places you normally skip or don't pay close attentino to IE; corners, under furniture, under rugs, and around base boards. You can't see it but you'll be getting all the eggs, larvae, and pupae.

  2. Step 2

Spray insectiside. Spray all carpets, rugs, and any other place your pet lays. Let off a bomb or fogger. Check the label to make sure it is a kind that kills all eggs, larvae, and pupae. Make sure to get into every nook and cranny of your home.

  3. Step 3

Treat your pets. Use flea powders, collars, and dips. More commonly used is top-spots which is safer for pets and humans alike. These are applied to the pet between the shoulder blades. Keep up with this treatment until you break the flea cycle.
