You too can become a master eBay wholesaler by following a few simple steps and learning a few free wholesaler tricks in the eBay world of discount products.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • home computer or laptop
  • internet capability
  • email account
  • eBay account
  • pay pal account
  • digital camera
  • items to sell
  • lightly colored fabric sheets
  1. Step 1

The first step to becoming a eBay wholesaler is to set up a business or premier account through pay pal. They are both free to sign up for. This will guarantee you instant payment and a secure transaction for your buyers.

  2. Step 2

To become a eBay wholesaler then register for a free account on eBay by creating your id and password and confirming with your email. Add wholesale selling capability to your eBay account by clicking on sell>sellers account>sell it.

  3. Step 3

Create a SYI (sell your items) form for listing different items you want to sell on eBay. To start look around your own home for free items that are of minimal value to you and even unwanted items as long as they are easily shipped and not fragile.

  4. Step 4

Do your eBay wholesaler research by clicking on advanced search>completed listings>details, descriptions>sort by highest first>last 15 days to find similar items to yours that are already selling and for what price. Green prices indicate items that have sold, red have not.

  5. Step 5

Go to a completed listing that has sold for a higher than average selling price and duplicate it. Look at sellers wholesaler information, title, description, photo, pricing, shipping, etc.

  6. Step 6

Choose the same category as the seller you are duplicating. Then choose a title, item description, shipping information, photo, etc. like the sellers for your item.

  7. Step 7

Invest 35 cents to add a photo to your eBay listing and use a digital camera with a lightly colored sheet as background when taking a photo of your items to list as a wholesaler.

  8. Step 8

Now set your pricing (can discount starting as low as 01 cent) and allow for bidding. Try to list unwanted or low value items on eBay at first to practice. This will also avoid initial panic when no one bids on your item initially. Then towards the end of the bidding process you will see a frenzy of bids, especially if you did a good job with your wholesale listing.

Tips & Warnings
  • make sure you create a different password for Pay Pal account and your eBay account.
  • use photos for all your items.
  • use a reserve price to protect you when placing valuable items at a low starting price.
  • put only information the user wants in your description, don't over do it.
  • once you become more advanced in selling your own items and learn how to research what items are top sellers, you can then buy and resell products that are already listed on eBay
