Blush is a must for a beautiful, glowing face. It can highlight, add depth and emphasize your gorgeous cheekbones. When choosing the perfect shade, match it to your cheeks when flushed from exercise, a day out in the cold or after you pinch them.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Blush
  • Translucent face powder
  • All over face shimmer
  • Blush brush
  1. Step 1

When foundation, powder, eye makeup and lipstick have been applied it is time for your blush. Using a blush or powder brush (not the stiff, small one that comes with it) place the brush in the blush and tap to remove the excess.

  2. Step 2

Look in the mirror and smile; this will help you find the apple of your cheeks. The top of the cheeks where the light hits is the apple of your cheeks.

  3. Step 3

Once you find the apples of your cheeks, lightly sweep the color across your cheekbone and apples. If you apply a little too much, use a little translucent powder over it to soften it.

  4. Step 4

Finish your look by lightly sweeping a neutral shimmer powder to the forehead, bridge of the nose, apple of the cheeks and above the 'cupids bow' of the lip. This will add light to the face for a youthful, awake glow.

Tips & Warnings
  • For an even more luminous look with staying power, combine a cream & powder blush together.
  • Avoid cheek stains if you have dry skin as it tends to have a drying effect.

on 11/7/2008 I've never worn blush because I have no idea how to do it and the few times I tried I got that "crazy grandma" look...lol I always admire it on people who know what they're doing, so maybe it's time to give it another try :-)
