Learn How To Bake A Christmas Turkey That Will Melt In Your Mouth!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Butter/Margarine
  • Baking Pan (lg enough for the size of the turkey)
  • A large pot
  • salt, pepper, seasoned salt
  • a turkey
  • baking bag if preferred
  • 1 apple
  • onion, bell pepper, and celery
  • turkey baster
  1. Step 1

    Start by unthawing the turkey, you should set it in the large pot smear the butter/margarine on it add bell pepper, onions, salt, and pepper and set it in the refrigerator overnight. Time varies based on how frozen the turkey is.

  2. Step 2

    Take the turkey out of the refrigerator two hours before cooking and let it stay in the pot with the water.

  3. Step 3

    Prepare your cooking pan if your using a cooking bag place it in the pan. If not continue wit the recipe

  4. Step 4

    Prepare the turkey by removing the giblets from the inside of the turkey and placing them to the side (you can use the giblets for broth or to make gravy) fold the turkey wings and place the apple inside of the turkey

  5. Step 5

    Next we rub more margarine/butter on the turkey and rub, seasoned salt, black pepper, salt, and paprika evenly on the turkey. Cut bell pepper, onions, and celery (amount as you desire) and place to the side.

  6. Step 6

    We now place the turkey in the cooking bag or directly in the cooking pan.

  7. Step 7

    Next we add a 1 1/2 cups of water and place a half of cup of each: celery, bell pepper, and onions around the turkey

  8. Step 8

    Preheat the oven as directed on the wrapping of the turkey and cook according to the directions on the wrapper. However you have to check the turkey every 30 minutes and use a turkey baste to pour the juice over the turkey every time.

  9. Step 9

    Now Your Turkey Is Done And It Will Be the Best Merry Christmas!

Tips & Warnings
  • With the cooking bags you don't have to check the turkey as often and you have to watch for the stem
