Things You'll Need:
- Full-coverage, nontransferable foundation
- Concealer (one shade lighter)
- Loose translucent powder
- Foundation brush
- Makeup sponge
- Powder brush
-
Step 1
Make sure the skin area is clean, dry and free of hair. This will ensure a smooth, natural finish.
You may also apply a light moisturizer to the area to avoid a drying effect. -
Step 2
Using a foundation brush, apply a thin coat of concealer in a downward motion.
Because concealer tends to dry darker, use a shade that is slightly lighter than your skin tone.
*Depending on the color of the tattoo, you may need to apply several thin layers of concealer. -
Step 3
Using a foundation sponge, apply a small amount of full coverage, non-transferable foundation to the area and blend using a patting motion. This will simulate the natural texture of your skin.
** Careful not to rub the area as this may smear the concealer. -
Step 4
Using a powder brush, finish off with a translucent loose powder.
