Step 1
Go visit relatives. They will cook for you! Show up with something nice from the grocery store like a pie or flowers. Offer to bring a ham or smoked turkey (from the store).
-
Step 2
Don't invite anyone over. This is only a good idea if you like being alone on the holiday.
-
Step 3
Buy all of it pre-cooked for you at the local grocery store. Heat and eat! Look in the weekly circulars ahead of the Thanksgiving Holiday, you can find great deals on full meals.
-
Step 4
Make it a pot-luck event and have all of your family, friends and guests bring a dish. Everyone wins with this idea. Good food and no one person does all the work. You can still buy some pre-cooked food, like the turkey and a ham. Again heat and eat!
-
Step 5
Go out to eat at nice restaurant or your local cafeteria. There are many places that stay open for the holiday. Just get out and enjoy someone else's cooking.
