Need some dip for that super bowl party? This will teach you how to make a quick and easy queso dip that is sure to please!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

take about 1/2 a lb of velveeta cheese (depends on how much dip you want to make) and cut it into 1/2in cubes. It's really hard to mess up this recipe so don't stress if you think the cubes are too big or too small, it's going to be melted anyway.

  2. Step 2

Throw your cheese cubes into a bowl and then add a can of hormel chili. You can add your own seasonings at this point. I'm a big fan of garlic but if you like it spicy you can also add some cheyenne pepper.

  3. Step 3

If you want to you can throw in some extra black beans or pinto beans. You can also add some freshly chopped jalapenos (I love jalapenos) to add some kick! If you want you can also add a little bit of salsa, about 1/4 cup to add a little more flavor.

  4. Step 4

Take and put the bowl in the microwave and microwave on high for about a minute and a half (depends on the wattage of your microwave). Then take the bowl out and stir the dip. Do this until the cheese is nice and melted. Now you've got a tasty queso dip that goes great with tortilla chips or vegetables.
