Things You'll Need:
- stationary and pen
-
Step 1
Ensure the letter is about how you feel and what you want to say--not what cards or what authors have to say
-
Step 2
Begin with a list of adjectives that describe how you feel about your loved one, the list will help you write your letter, or write a thank-you to your loved one for all the nice things he or she does for you or how they make you feel
-
Step 3
point out how long you have been together, and how your feelings have grown over, time, compliment the typical subjects like style etc, remember to add praise that is is also novel and that has not been expressed before, for example--your laughter is my favorite distraction, use silly disagreements or everyday annoyances, such as I love you despite the fact you sing out of tune
