My article will teach you how to easily make salsa dip. The instructions are very easy to follow and you'll have fabulous tasting salsa in just minutes!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Food Processor
  • 2 Cans Petite Diced Tomatoes
  • Cilantro
  • Jalapeno Pepper
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 Red Onion
  1. Step 1

First take your cilantro and just cut the leaves off. Feed them into the chute of your processor. (At this time leave your processor set to 1.)

  2. Step 2

Now take your red onion and cut it into to small enough pieces that they'll fit through the processor chute. Keep the processor running at 1 still because you want everything to be chopped super fine.

  3. Step 3

Next cut the top off of your jalapeno pepper and drop it in. You can add more then 1 if you like it hot...but be prepared, 1 will make it pretty hot! After you add the pepper you can turn your processor off.

  4. Step 4

Mix everything in the processor around. Now open the 2 cans of petite diced tomatoes. You'll want to strain them in a strainer to get most of the liquid out of them. You can now add them right into the processor. (take the lid off of the processor instead of putting the tomatoes through the chute. It's a lot less messy!) Once you've added the tomatoes you're going to pulse the processor until the tomatoes are mixed in. You can make it as chunky or smoothe as you like it.

  5. Step 5

Finally you can cut your lime in half and squeeze it over the bowl. Be sure to either put your hand under or a strainer to catch the seeds. You don't want them in your salsa. Remove the blade from your processor. Now give it a final stir with a spoon and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • It might take a few times to get the taste to your liking.
  • Remember after the salsa sits for a little bit it does get a little more spicy!
  • If your processor comes with a storage lid like mine just don't forget to take out the blade before you enjoy your salsa!
