Things You'll Need:
- clean glass jelly jars with lids (I use 9 oz. size)
- your favorite hot cocoa powdered mix
- 2 oz. of plain milk chocolate Hershey bars for each 9 oz. jelly jar you plan to make
- 1 c. mini marshmallows for each glass jar
- ribbon to tie around the top of the glass jar
- 1 4 inch by 4 inch piece of cloth (use a holiday theme or festive colors

Step 1
Figure out how many glass jars of hot cocoa you want to make and give as gifts.

See the recipe above and multiply it by the number of jars.

chocolateNext, buy your supplies. Glass jelly jars, hot cocoa, hershey bars, and mini marshmallows can all be purchased at your supermarket.

ribbon and clothThe ribbon and cloth can be found at a craft store.

hot cocoaIn a large mixing bowl combine the hot cocoa and marshmallows. Then break up the chocolate bars into small pieces and stir them in. Next fill the jars with hot cocoa mix.

hot cocoaPlace the cloth in between the flat lid and the round lid on the top of the jelly jar and tighten lid. Tie a ribbon around it. You can even put a label on the jar or attach it to the ribbon.

Put them out at a holiday party and give them as a gift as your guests leave!
