It's now, not only what we eat, but how it is prepared, that could lead to illness!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • a desire to learn how to eat healthier
  1. Step 1

Deep frying traditionally uses unhealthy fats, and reusing cooking oils (or eating foods cooked in oils that have been reheated) can form the toxins which has been associated with increased risks of cardiovascular disease, stroke, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, various liver disorders, and cancer.

  2. Step 2

Microwaving in plastic can drive plastic molecules into your food. Use only glass or ceramic containers and cover foods with waxed paper or a paper towel.

  3. Step 3

Grilling with charcoal is potentially hazardous and cancer causing smoke is produced when you grill hot dogs, hamburgers and chicken over charcoal. Instead, use a gas or electric grill to eliminate the smoke hazard - if you do use charcoal, avoid using lighting fluid or self-lighting packages of charcoal briquettes which add residues from toxic chemicals to food.

Tips & Warnings
  • Xtra calories, toxins, and plastic paticles are all avoidable when foods are grilled, broiled or stir-fried.
  • Following these (possibly)new methods of cooking meats, requires practice and use of spices.
