Instructions

    • 1
      Trademeet

      Travel from the city of Athkatla to the metropolis called Trademeet. Go into the mayor's house and ask him about the recent problems that the town has been having with wild animal attacks.

      The Druid Cernd

      Head into the mayor's basement and talk to the druid named Cerd. Ask him about the animal attacks and then offer to let him join your party of adventurers.

      Waukeen's Promenade

      Return to Athkatla with Cerd in your party and travel to the section of the town called Waukeen's Promenade, where a man named Igarol will approach you and give you the news that Cernd has become a father while he was away.

      The Government District

      Walk into the nearby house owned by the woman named Fennecia, who will tell the party that Cernd's offspring can be found in the Government District and that his wife has been killed. Go to the government district and enter the home marked on your map as the "Deril Estate."

      The Druid's Grove

      Talk to the man named Deril and choose the dialog option to bully him into returning Cernd's child. Take the baby and then go to the Druid's Grove near Trademeet. Ask the druids to raise the child to finish the quest.

Tips & Warnings

  • Your party will receive a total of 26,500 experience, which is split between all the characters, when you complete the quest.

  • There is a large group of trolls near the druid's grove who will attack your party, so make sure to have fire or acid magic at your disposal to be able to kill them.
