How to Get a Prepaid Credit Card to Work With PayPal

Having a PayPal account makes payments possible in many locations, languages and currencies. Consumers can use PayPal to make payments with their credit cards, bank accounts, buyer credit or account balances. Adding your prepaid credit card will help you make online purchases more quickly and securely. Cards with the Visa and MasterCard logo are accepted as are Discover and American Express cards.

• Active PayPal account

Instructions

1. Open your Web browser and sign in to your PayPal account.

2. Hover your mouse over "Profile" in the bar across the top of the screen just under the blue tabs and click "Add or Edit Credit Card" from the listed options.

3. Click the "Add a Card" button and enter your card information. Select your billing address if it's listed or select "Add a New Billing Address" and input your new billing address in the provided fields.

4. Click the "Add Card" button.
