How to Finding a Christian Mate
Finding a Christian mate is not an easy task for some singles. Yet the Bible says, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers," in 2 Corinthians 6:14. This means that Christians should not marry people who are not Christians because it can lead to disparity in the home. The key to finding the right Christian life mate is participating in as many Christian events as you can.

1
Attend Sunday school and church service every week at a local church where many single adults attend. Bring your Bible, be attentive and ask questions periodically to let others know that you are serious about your faith.
-
2
Volunteer to be a leader or helper at youth group, or a children's group such as AWANA. Many young single adults help at these functions and they will see that you are active in the church.

3
Find a Christian singles study group to attend weekly. These usually involve a Bible study followed by games, chat time or an outing with Christian singles. Look specifically for a group at a church other than your own, unless you are interested in someone at your church and think there is a mutual attraction. If that is the case, try asking if the person is seeing anyone.
-
4
Sign up to go on short-term missions' trips with Christian organizations such as local Christian radio stations, churches and youth organizations. Many singles go on these trips. You spend most of the days working together so you really get to know each other on these trips. You will also observe if the person's heart is really into what you are doing for God.
-
5
Go to a Christian College or missions' training school where you can meet hundreds of other Christian singles. These students are trying to better themselves academically while staying faithful to their religion during this challenging time of transitioning into independent adulthood.
-
6
Ask several Christians out as a group to a movie, for a soda or coffee, concerts, or sporting events. This is less threatening and gives you all a chance to get to know each other better.
