Download Filipino Music Using Limewire

1. Open a new internet browsing window. In the address bar, type in http://www.limewire.com . The page that comes up will have a menu at the top of the page. Click the "Download" link on this page.

2. Allow the next page to load. You will be given two choices of downloads. Click on the "Get Basic" link. Scroll down the page that comes up. Choose your operating system (Windows, Linux or other type) from the list and click on the link.

3. Click "Save" when the window pops up asking you whether you want to run or save the program. Save the program to your computer. You can save it to your desktop to make it easier to find, in case you have to install it at a later time.

4. Click "Open" once the file is downloaded, or double click the Limewire icon after it downloads. Follow all of the instruction given to you during the installation. Once the installation is done, you will have Limewire on your computer. You can tell the program, during installation, to make an icon on your desktop so you have quick access to it.

5. Open Limewire and allow it to load. The program will automatically ask if you want to upgrade to PRO. Just click "Later" (you will never have to upgrade). Click "Close" on the tips window that pops up. Look to the left of the screen, near the top, and find "Audio" and click on it.

6. Type in the information on the song that you want to download (artist, title, etc.) and click search. If you do not know of any specific Filipino music you want to hear, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Philippine-based_music_groups for a large list of Filipino artists.
   You can also click on the artist's name to read their information and their discography. When you find an artist or song you like, type it into the Limewire search and click "Search."

7. Wait for the list of songs to load. Scroll down the list until you see the specific song you want. Try not to download any songs that are less than 2000 KBs, as it may just be part of a song. Doubleclick on the song you want. Wait for the song to download. You can click on the song in your bottom tile and click "Preview" to sample the song before it downloads all the way. If you like what you hear, continue downloading. If not, click "Cancel."

8. Enjoy the song as much as you like after it finishes downloading.

1. Open an internet browser window and type in http://music.download.com . This option is if you do not want to download any software to download music. Allow the page to load.

2. Look to the left of the screen after it loads. Look to the left of the page and find the tab that says "Regions" and click the tab. After a new menu opens, click on Asia. Scroll down the new menu and click on the link that says "Philippines."

3. Scroll down the new page that loads until you see an artist you like or want to sample. Not all artists will have downloadable music, but many will. If there is a number above the "Downloads Last Week" in the Statistics section of the artist, it means the artist has down-loadable music. You can continue clicking "Next 15" to go through all of the pages until you find an artist you want to download.

4. Click on the "See All Free Tracks" link next to an artist once you find one you want to download. A new page will pop up that lists the artist's songs that are down-loadable. Click "Download Free Mp3" next to any song you want to download. A window will pop up asking you whether you want to open, save, or cancel the download. Click "Save" and then select a folder on your computer to save the song. Click "Save" again, and the song will begin downloading.

5. Allow the song to completely finish downloading. Afterwards, you can enjoy the song as often as you like by double clicking it in the folder you saved it to.
