Nothing says "I love you" like beautiful flowers. Although red roses are the all-time favorite Valentine flower, send your sweetheart her favorite flowers and be sure to attach a love note to tell her how special she is to you. Don't forget to include a box of chocolates for an extra bit of sweetness.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide on what type of flowers you will send. Red and pink roses and carnations are the most requested Valentine flower. Choose your sweetheart's favorite flower and color. Decide on long stem or short. Long stem flowers are usually wrapped in pretty tissue paper with a ribbon and card attached. Short stem flowers work best for arranging in a vase.

  2. Step 2

Visit your nearby florist and see what type of arrangements they have or can make. To find a florist in your area use the yellow pages or ask for recommendations from family or friends. Advantages of ordering from a local florist is that you can personally see samples of flower arrangements and colors before ordering. If you prefer, you can order flowers from an online florist, such as FTD. See Resources below.

  3. Step 3

Give the shipping information to the florist. They will need the name of the person you are sending flowers to, the address where the flowers will be delivered, and the day you want them delivered.

Tips & Warnings
  • Do not forget to specify the time of day you want the flowers delivered, especially if the recipient is only there for a short while.
