Step 1
Click on your own Google Adsense Ads. If you happen to accidentally click on one, don't panic. Immediately email the Adsense support team at adsense-support@google.com and tell them who you are, your account information and what exactly you did. If you do this one or two times, you will not have to worry at all. If you do it excessively, your account will be erased.
-
Step 2
Have hidden text on your website. An example would be having white text hidden all over your white background. People do this to add search engine words to their website without it being seen, and this can be easily detected by Google.
-
Step 3
STUFF your meta tags (keywords) and title tags. This means packing your tags to all look the same surrounding one word. For example: graphic, graphics, graphic design, graphics design, graphic designs, graphicdesign, graphicdesigns, designgraphic, designgraphics, design graphic, design graphics designs graphic, design, designs, etc. Google doesn't like this, and it really does you no good either - so try and avoid doing this.
-
Step 4
Spam your image tag. When looking at a website, you may have noticed that sometimes when you hover over an image, some text pops up over it describing what it is. This is the tag name for the image, and should not be a long string of keywords. Usually, you can edit the tag of your image when you place it into your content, so please avoid trying to hide keywords here too. Your image tags should only describe what the image is or about.
-
Step 5
Join A Google Adsense Ring. This is one of the most common ways to get banned, and it is definitely a bad idea. A Google Adsense Ring is a bunch of people who get together to secretly click on each other's google adsense ads on each other's websites. Google has ways to easily find such patterns, and will ban each of the persons involved in a heartbeat.
-
Step 6
Trick Google in any way. If you somehow design your website to show the google search engine bots something different than what is actually on your website, this is bad. Another word for this is called "Cloaking."
-
Step 7
Have duplicate content on your website. Many sites will try and get more viewers and traffic by containing multiple pages that are all duplicates of each other. So, please try and avoid copying and pasting parts of your website into itself in a different location, and it should also be obvious not to copy content from another website. Google can easily find duplicate content, so do your best to avoid it at all costs.
-
Step 8
Distribute bad files and viruses. If your content is giving people bad files and viruses, your site will be banned as Google does it's best to protect internet users. Please perform a virus check on anything you are uploading for people to download later.
-
Step 9
Have anything write your content for you automatically. If you have things like bots or programs that automatically create content for you, tisk tisk. This is another big reason why Google has banned certain websites.
-
Step 10
All you have to do to never worry about Google banning your website or accounts is to just make a website that is clear and well-organized, with content written by yourself.
