Going to a party and need to bring an appetizer to share? Try this recipe for an easy, crowd pleasing hit.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 bag frozen Italian meatballs
  • 1 can pineapple
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2/3 cup vinegar
  • 1 can pineapple juice
  • 6 tbsp. corn starch in water
  1. Step 1

    Mix the sugar, teriyaki sauce, vinegar and pineapple juice together in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

  2. Step 2

    Add the corn starch mix to the mixture in step one until the desired thickness is reached.

  3. Step 3

    Put the mixture with the meatballs in a crock pot and heat.

  4. Step 4

    Add the pineapple to the meatballs just before serving.

Tips & Warnings
  • The meatballs should heat for at least 2-3 hours prior to serving.
  • For faster results, defrost meatballs in microwave before putting in crock pot.
