Step 1
First, you need to be able to find lots of soda coupons. The best place is the grocery store or the department store to find the coupons. Another popular place to look is drug stores such as Walgreens or CVS.
-
Step 2
The type of coupons you are looking for would be from major brands. Pepsi and Coke products are widely popular. So is the 7-up brand and Shasta, however don't overlook the ginger ale products as those sell well too.
-
Step 3
The coupons are usually found in the soda isle and on end caps. These coupons are in pads that are part of displays. Depending on how many you want to sell, you need to decide how many coupons to take. The coupons in stores, are always free, unless indicated otherwise.
-
Step 4
Once you have the coupons, you need to decide how many coupons you are selling online. Lots sell very well with 10 to 15 coupons per lot. Before you decide, research what is currently online and the final sale price.
-
Step 5
Once you decide the cost of each lot, place your ad online. The ad needs to have the entire coupon restrictions and expiration written out in full. I write it in the ad, word for word, so there are no misunderstandings.
-
Step 6
Also, see if the coupon begins with the number '5' (if so you can double the coupon and HUGE selling point.) Definitely let people know this is a real coupon and not a scan or internet printed coupon.
-
Step 7
The pictures of the coupons need to have the actual coupons as well as your EBay ID. Don't take a picture too close so the buyer can read the entire coupon, as that is against Ebay's rules.
-
Step 8
The final step, after the writing, pictures and price is the type of auction. My philosophy is the more products you sell the more money you will make in the long run. Build a client base is important to me so I always use the 'Buy it Now' feature. If you are looking for more money that means going with traditional auctions so the items get bid up.
