Things You'll Need:
- Bathtub or large sink
- Dog or cat oatmeal shampoo
- Toothbrush
- Towel
-
Step 1
bathtubFill up your bathtub or sink with about 3 inches of water. The water should come up to the hedgehog's belly and should be luke warm. If the water is too hot for you to dip your wrist in to, it is too hot for your hedgehog!
-
Step 2
Place the hedgehog gently into the water and let the hedgie run around for a few minutes.
-
Step 3
Take the shampoo and squeeze a little bit onto the soft-bristled toothbrush like toothpaste. Gently run the brush down the hedgehog's back. going with the flow of the bristles.
-
Step 4
Get a little more shampoo on the toothbrush and gently brush the hedgie's feet.
-
Step 5
Take a cup of water and slowly rinse off the hedgehog. Repeat this step several times as it is important to get all the soap off!
-
Step 6
Take the hedgehog out of the bath tub and wrap in a warm towel. Hold the hedgie until the soft fur on the belly is completely dry.
