Things You'll Need:
- Wax Paper
- Refrigerated Pie Crust
- Large Cookie Cutters
- Baking Sheet
- Filing: Apple Butter or apple pie filling
- Cinnamon Sugar Mixture

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2
Roll out the pie crust onto the wax paper. Using large cookie cutters, cut shapes from the dough. Cut and equal amount of each shape.

Step 3
After placing the cookie onto the baking sheet, drop one tablespoon of filling in the center of the cookie. Spread almost to the edge.

Step 4
Place another cookie on top of the bottom cookie. Using water smooth the edges together to form a seal. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Step 5
Bake until golden brown. Enjoy hot with ice cream!

These sound delicious. I also like the idea of using other fillings depending on the mood or occasion. Yummy!
