Change of weather is here and so are allergies. Sometimes so terrible it can be hard to enjoy anything. Here are a few tips on how to deal with your allergies.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Every morning, use a Neti pot or saline solution nasal wash. This will wash out dust, mold and mildew which enters the nasal passages making it hard to breath and making for those sneezes when you awake in the morning.

  2. Step 2

Keep bedroom windows closed. Early morning till about maybe 10 am, pollen is at it's strongest. SO, try keeping the windows shut at this time.

  3. Step 3

Use a protective pillow case and mattress cover. Dust mites cover all areas, there is no escape but if you protect your pillows and mattress, you can reduce by at least 90 percent. Dust mite is a significant cause of hives and asthma.

  4. Step 4

Take an allergy pill as directed. Some people only take it if they feel they need too. Taking as directed can really reduce sneezing and hives, itchy and runny nose as well as watery puffy eyes.

  5. Step 5

Stay away from people who smoke. Smoke can irritate lungs, nose, and eyes. It definitely triggers allergens.

  6. Step 6

Don't use any sprays like room freshener, this triggers sneezing and asthma as well.

  7. Step 7

When using harsh chemicals while cleaning, be sure to wear a mask.

  8. Step 8

Take vitamins. Taking vitamin C also and B vitamins for allergies are extremly helpful.

  9. Step 9

Remember get tested for food and environmental allergies. This can save you a world of problems. Knowing what you can not eat and knowing what triggers allergies in your home can help out and make a big difference once avoided.
