Things You'll Need:
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- 1 cup of fresh okra, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups canned tomatoes and juice
- 1 cup diced cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup cooked rice
- salt and papper to taste

Step 1
In a heavy saucepan, melt the butter.
Sauté the onion in the butter until it is transparent. -
Step 2
Add the chicken broth, peppers, okra, and tomatoes.
Bring to a boil and simmer until the vegetables are cooked through. -
Step 3
Add the chicken and rice and reheat.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve. Enjoy!
