Looking for an elegant centerpiece on a budget? This one will add romance to the table for a wedding or a special dinner.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • bud vase
  • single rose
  • baby's breath
  • 18 inches of ribbon
  • water
  • rose petals
  • 4 votive candles
  1. Step 1

    In a bud vase, place a single rose with leaves and a sprig of baby's breath.

  2. Step 2

    Tie the ribbon in a bow around the center of the vase, cutting the ends of the ribbon on a slant.

  3. Step 3

    Place vase in center of table and sprinkle rose petals around the base.

  4. Step 4

    Place the votive candles around the vase about 6 to 8 inches away. To add more elegance place a few of the rose petals in the votive between the candle and glass.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use a the same color rose petals as rose in vase to keep the flow of color.
  • Use a complementary colored ribbon or tulle, for best effect.
  • Best with white or ivory colored votive candles for contrast with rose petals.
  • Place petals in votive side deep enough; do not want petals near flame.
