How to make a Weight Watchers Cheese Sauce

This Weight Watcher friendly cheese sauce will quickly become a favorite

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • flour
  • fat free chicken broth
  • 1% milk
  • 2% shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt & pepper
  1. Step 1

    1 tbsp flour
    1/2 c fat free chicken broth
    1/2 c 1% milk
    2oz of 2% shredded cheddar cheese
    salt AND pepper to taste

  2. Step 2

    in a large size bowl whisk together chicken broth, flour and milk. Microwave for 5 min but stir after each minute to keep from boiling over.

  3. Step 3

    When thickened add cheese

    serving size is 1/3 cup (8pts for whole recipe)

    serve over veggies or makes nice addition to baked potato

Tips & Warnings
  • perfect cheese sauce for veggies or baked potatoes and can even be incorporated into your own recipe for macaroni and cheese
  • remember to stir after each minute to keep sauce from boiling over in microwave
  • this whole recipe equals 8 Weight Watcher points so you will have to divide it according to the portion you wish to use.
