Can’t live without your daily coffee, but can live without the exorbitant price? Follow the suggestions below and start saving on your favorite daily indulgence.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get A Coffee Card: Most gas stations will offer a punch card that gives you a free cup of coffee after purchasing 10 cups of coffee (you get a punch for each cup purchased). If you buy coffee on a daily basis, this can add up to 3 or more free cups of coffee every month.

  2. Step 2

Check out the Library: While not every library has a café, many libraries do, and they frequently offer great savings in an attempt to gain a loyal customer base. Either stop by or call your local library to see if they have a café that serves coffee, and what kind of incentives their café offer customers.

Buy a Membership: While purchasing a membership from Barnes and Noble costs $25 a year, if you spend over $250 a year on coffee, the membership is definitely worth it. (Don’t know how much you spend on coffee? Just figure out how much you spend for coffee each day and multiply it by 365). The membership gives you 10% off anything you buy in the store, including your coffee. And since Barnes and Noble serves Starbucks coffee, you can get your favorite Starbucks drink for a lower price.

  4. Step 4

Charge It: Starbucks now offers a credit card that allows you to save a pretty penny when you use the credit card to buy items from any Starbucks location. As long as you pay off the balance every month, using the Starbucks credit card to buy your coffee at Starbucks can save you a noticeable amount of money.

  5. Step 5
    Coffee Thermos'

Use a Thermos: Most gas stations and coffee shops will offer you a discount if you bring in your own coffee cup or thermos when you purchase coffee from their establishment. Another bonus? Using your own thermos or coffee cup will often keep your coffee warm and fresh for a longer period of time than the cups used by gas stations or coffee shops.
