This is a classic cole slaw recipe and is so simple to make any time.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 cups coarsley shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sliced green scallions
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/8 tsp celery seed
  • 3/4 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 diced green peppers
  1. Step 1

    In a large bowl add mayo and sugar and mix

  2. Step 2

    then add vinegar and salt

  3. Step 3

    mustard and celery seed mix everything together well

  4. Step 4

    add cabbage and mix

  5. Step 5

    add carrots peppers and onion, mix everything well

  6. Step 6

    Cover and chill at least 2 hours before serving

Tips & Warnings
  • If you don't have cider vinegar just use what you have
  • Also dry mustard if you don have it use 3/4 tsp prepared mustard
