Ever wonder how some people are making money on ebay? I can give you some advice on how to get your ebay business started.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Decide what it is you want to sell. Choose something that you yourself are interested in. Perhaps you can even turn your hobby into a money making business move on ebay. If you are into crafts or painting then why not sell it on ebay, thousands of people are buying on ebay every day, this kinda of exposure can only make your business grow.

  2. Step 2

Search your house, clean out your closets and garage, you may have some hidden treasures in there that someone would love to buy.

  3. Step 3

Do you already own your own storefront business? Take the products you already have in store and list them on ebay, you can get rid of out dated products, it's a great way to make some money off of overstock, and a great way to increase your money in general.

  4. Step 4

Buy in bulk on ebay and then split up the products and sell them individually. If you are selling used video games, buy a console that comes with some games and then sell them each individually at a slight mark up.

  5. Step 5

Do a search for auction templates and use some pre-made auction templates, this is a lot easier than making your own and you don't need to know html code to do it.

  6. Step 6

Make sure your description is clear and concise, be honest and forthright about any damage to the product before you sell it. Get your shipments out fast and focus on making your customers happy, this will increase your feed back rating and make people more likely to buy from you.

  7. Step 7

Make sure and put a picture next to your auction, it is going to draw more potential buyers. Also make sure your pictures are in focus and clear, no one wants to buy from someone whose pictures are not professional looking.

  8. Step 8

Spell your auction names correctly. If you misspell something then less people will find it in their searches and you will have a lot less traffic to your auction site. Have fun and good luck!
