Have you ever lost contact with a friend or relative? Have you lost their telephone number and/or email? Have you wondered what to do or how to go about finding them with the internet? Just follow these few steps to reuniting with your friends.

   How to locate Lost Friends

   Go to Google.com. Type in the person's name and the city in which he lives (if that is known). This can give one access to anything that has been printed about the person. I typed in my brother-in-laws' Grandmother's name and found information on her and she has been dead since 1964!

   How to locate Lost Friends

   Go to www.Facebook.com. Facebook is one of the largest social sites on the web so the chances are good that you might be able to find someone. You can search for them by their name or by their high school, college or company. Do the same for www.mySpace.com.

   Go to http://pipl.com. This is a different type of search engine than yahoo or google. This search engine searches the invisible web. This term mainly refers to the vast repository of information that search engines and directories don't have direct access to, like databases. This info is generally inaccessible to the software spiders and crawlers that create search engine indexes.

   Go to http://www.linkedin.com. This site is a business-oriented social networking site. People in business usually need to stay connected to others in the same field. This is an often overlooked resource.

• Do not pay to find anyone! There are enough info sites to investigate.
• Keep trying!
• Keep a record of where you have looked so you won't backtrack.
