How to Make a Pine Cone Turkey for Thanksgiving

These little turkeys are great fun to make and look great as place cards or centerpieces.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Pine cone
• Acorn
• Wiggle eyes
• Red and orange pipe cleaners
• Glue
• Bird feathers or construction paper feathers
• Short, bare tree branch

1. Cut an orange pipe cleaner in half, fold in half for legs, and twist at the end for feet.

2. Glue the legs to the pine cone a little less than halfway from the longest end.

3. Glue the pine cone, legs down, to the tree branch.

4. Glue the acorn to the small end of the pine cone.

5. Glue the wiggly eys to the acorn.

6. Glue the feathers to the large end of the pinecone.

7. Glue a tiny piece of the red pipe cleaner below the eyes for the waddle.
