Things You'll Need:
- 1 box of cranberry jello
- 1 16 ounce can of whole cranberry sauce
- 1 diced granny smith apple
- 1 peeled and cut up orange
- 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
- 1/8 teaspoon each of ground cloves and cinnamon
-
Step 1
The first thing to do is start by making the jello, make sure you are following the directions on the box. Pour it into a glass 8x8 square baking dish.
-
Step 2
Stir the apple, orange, cranberries, walnuts, cloves and cinnamon into the jello in the baking dish. Make sure it is mixed really well. Dilute the cinnamon as much as possible.
-
Step 3
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and put it into the refrigerator to set. You may want to make this recipe the night before to insure that the jello will have plenty of time to set. The longer is sets, the better. It's also one less thing you have to prepare on Thanksgiving day.

on 11/13/2008 I'm posting this to favorites and definitely making it this year. My MIL always opens up a can of sauce, slices it and serves it. UGH! This sounds great; thanks!
