How to Sell Your Antiques & Collectibles in an Antique Mall

Do you have a lot of antiques and collectibles sitting around your house collecting dust? Would you like to make some money off of them without doing to much work? Set up a booth at an Antique Mall. It is easier to price and display your antiques in a mall then it is to list them on ebay. Customers like to see and physically touch items before they buy them making Antique Malls a good place to buy and sell antiques.

Instructions

1. 

   Take an inventory of how many antiques and collectibles that you have accumulated over the years. How many would you like to sale? If you have a lot of items that would supply a booth for several months then you should give the antique mall a try.

2. Visit antique malls in your area, pick your favorite mall that you would like to display your items in. Ask the dealers who are in the mall working on their booths how their sales are

3. Get the details on the rental space, prices, commissions, and what types of items are allowed from the manager.

4. Study how the other booths are set up. You will want to set up a creative antique display.

5. Price all of your items. You can find pricing guidelines on ebay or from other items like it in the antique mall.

6. Stock and decorate your booth.

7. At least once a month add more stock or rearrange your items.

Tips & Warnings

• Some of your friends or family may want to put a few of their items in your booth to share the cost of the rent.

• Be sure that the Antique Mall that you set up a booth in gets a lot of traffic. Ask the other dealers how their sales are before investing your time and money
