Another thing that will help with depression is the get a pet. When you have a pet that loves and needs you then your problems will not seem so urgent.

Make a list of all the good things in your life. We all have things and people in our life we need to be grateful for. This will give you a good feeling and if all else fails, there is nothing wrong with taking meds as prescribed by a doctor.
